FAQs

How will my hot chocolate bombs be packaged?

Your bombs will come packaged based on how many you buy. If you buy a set of two, they will be packaged together, etc. If you need singles for gifts, you can either purchase singles or you can buy larger amounts and repackage them individually yourself.

How long will my bombs last?

The bombs should last up to a month as long as they are stored in an airtight container in a cool, dry place. Refrigeration is not necessary. They are very fragile so please handle them with care.

How big are your hot chocolate bombs?

My hot chocolate bombs are approximately 3" in diameter. They are filled with delicious hot chocolate mix and a lot of marshmallows! I recommend 10-12 oz of hot milk with these bombs. Heart-shaped bombs are a bit smaller and I recommend these with 8-10 oz of milk.

What flavors do you offer?

I offer different regular flavors year round and I highly recommend that you try all of them! All of my flavors are chocolate based, but they each offer a different flavor profile so you can keep things interesting. Read more about each flavor on the home page.

Do I have to use milk or can I use water?

Just say no to water! The chocolate used for the shell does not taste great or melt well when mixed with water. You don't want to ruin your gourmet hot chocolate ball, so definitely use milk. Use whole milk for the creamiest, most delicious cup of hot chocolate!

Can I customize my own flavor?

Right now I'm only offering the flavors listed above, but if you'd like a minor modification (e.g., leave out the marshmallows) feel free to list your preference in the comment section at checkout and I will do my best to honor your request!

Why does everything say Sold Out?

If an item says sold out, that means either ordering is done for the week or I've already sold out for the week. Check back the following Sunday for inventory to be restocked!

Why aren't you shipping?

Shipping is a logistical challenge for very fragile, easily melted chocolate balls. I've found that it is both time consuming and expensive to properly ship these, so for  now I'm limiting sales to local customers. I am doing some research and trying out new methods though, so I do hope to offer shipping to customers in the future.
